The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and experience leading both internal and external projects from the idea stage to execution. You should be excited by the prospects of growth and thrilled about developing strategies for the growth process, You will be responsible for, but are not limited to the following:

Analyzing current and past financial data

Looking at current financial performance and identifying trends

Preparing reports on the above information and communicating the insights of these reports to the wider business

Consulting with the management team to develop long-term commercial plans

Suggesting budgets and improvements based on the above information

Exploring different investment opportunities

Developing financial models and providing financial forecasts

Developing initiatives and policies that may improve financial growth

Measuring financial risk associated with investment decisions

Preparing documentation to help startups and small businesses in getting funds

This is a growth role and the ideal candidate should have a good knowledge of financial analytics, demonstrate attention to detail, and have the ability to identify data patterns

What do you need to have done in your career?
The ideal candidate for the Finance Analyst role must have:

A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or in a related field.

At least 3 years experience working as a finance analyst.

Experience with statistical analysis and financial forecasting

Attention to detail and the ability to identify data patterns

Good verbal and written communication skills

Abreast of industry updates

Proficiency in integrated financial management software like Sage, QuickBooks, and other similar software.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel

Knowledge of Accounting Practices

Exceptional attention to detail.
