Hey, Workie!
Do you think you have friends that could help your career? Or are all your friends as lost as you are?
If you look around yourself and find out that all your friends are as clueless as you when it comes to professional matters, then please shine your eyes and find at least one that knows what they’re doing.

CORPORATE BANTS
Maybe Unpaid Internships Aren’t All That Bad
I know hearing someone utter the words “unpaid intern” can leave a bitter taste in your mouth because, let’s face it, who doesn’t like money?
You need to understand that when you’re just starting out, money, as important as it is, isn’t necessarily the only consideration.
Now, I’m not saying you should just go around offering free work to everyone, but in some situations, it’s not all bad.
Unpaid internships offer some perks, like:
- Flexibility: If you’re working for free, then you have more room to ask to work on specific projects of interest to you and turn down things you aren’t interested in.
- Building your network: They could give you the opportunity to meet new people and build your professional network.
- CV building: They help you build your CV and gain some work experience.
As good as all these things sound, there are a lot of things you need to consider before taking up an unpaid internship because it’s definitely not for everyone and not everyone has the liberty to work for free.
