Hey, Workie!

Everyone knows NYSC is stressful, but apparently it’s dangerous now as well.

The female hostel at the Ekiti NYSC camp collapsed recently and it’s got a lot of people scratching their heads as well as being rightfully enraged at the fact that it happened in the first place.

What do you think?

CORPORATE BANTS

Don’t Underestimate Any Connection

Sometimes, you sit around all day praying for a helper to swoop in and change your life, all the while failing to realize that your “door opener” or “helper” could be someone you’ve known your whole life or someone you’re already close to.

A huge issue a lot of people have is failing to utilize the network they already have.

Your network is basically the people you have in your life that you have relationships with on some level, these are people like old classmates, lecturers, friends etc.

There’s a huge misconception that you need to be connected to captains of industry to be successful but the truth is the chances of you bumping into Dangote on the road are slim to none and it could be his driver or assistant that’ll end up putting you on to an opportunity so don’t underestimate any of the people you know.

It’s important to view everyone you meet as an addition to your already existing network because you can never know.
