Hey, Workie!

So, Tunde Onokoya just set a world record by playing chess for 58 hours straight to raise a million dollars for less privileged children. And I’m just here wondering what I even did this week, I was just really busy; otherwise, I would have raised a million dollars too 🙄

CORPORATE BANTS

LinkedIn Isn’t Just For Old People

You know how you polish up your Instagram and Twitter because you want people to follow you, or you want to make new friends? Well, you need to polish up your LinkedIn if you want access to better jobs and people that could potentially help your career.

Apparently, 80% of people who actively sought out jobs on LinkedIn were able to find jobs on LinkedIn.

That percentage doesn’t even account for the number of people that just get offered jobs in their DM’s because their profiles look good. Shocked right?

Even if you have very little work experience, or no work experience at all, you should still be on LinkedIn because, let’s face it, how many people are offering you jobs in your Instagram DM’s or giving you information on job vacancies in your field?

If you’re a new graduate or even still in school and you want to start making moves to advance your career, then an amazing first step is joining LinkedIn.

You’ll just need to focus your energy on curating your profile in a way that puts your best qualities forward, and you can do this without having a lot of work experience, so don’t let that stop you.

So, stop saying you’re not old enough for LinkedIn and get on your zoom as soon as possible!
