Hey, Workie!
It has come to my attention that not all of us were suffering at NYSC camp, and some people decided to turn camp into speed dating, and even worse, some people actually found love there. When were you going to update me?
Didn’t we all agree that we were staying wicked this year? So what’s all this I’m hearing?

What Are Your Time Wasters?
Do you feel like you’re the most productive person you could possibly be? Or do you struggle to maximize your time? If the answer is the latter, then my advice for you is to take a second and figure out what exactly your “time wasters” are.
Time wasters are basically the things you do that prevent you from getting your work done. Unless you have an insane amount of discipline, almost everyone has one or two time wasters, whether they realize it or not.
I recently discovered that my number one time waster is TikTok, and as much as it’s a form of entertainment (and kicking back and watching something funny every now and then isn’t a bad thing), it started getting in the way of my productivity, and I realized that I had to do something about it (no, I didn’t delete it). I just put some limits in place for myself.
So first, you need to identify what exactly your time wasters are and make a conscious effort to cut back on them.
Here are three ways to combat time wasters:
- Ask yourself, “Why am I doing this?”: You need to evaluate every task you pour your energy into and ask yourself whether or not it’s worth the time you’re putting into it; if not, then simply don’t do it.
- Do it quickly: If an activity is of low value, then it can usually be done to acceptable standards quite quickly. Don’t waste precious time on things that don’t really matter.
- Do low value activities when your energy is low: Schedule your most meaningful work for times when you feel most productive and leave all the meaningless activities like scrolling through social media for when you don’t have a lot of energy.
If you’re still wondering how to deal with time wasters, I've got your back.

Shine Your Eyes For Red Flags!!!
As annoying as it might seem, if you’re desperately looking for a job right now, the truth is, too much desperation during a job search can, 9 times out of 10, only bring things that aren’t necessarily desirable and make the red flags look pink. This babe’s first job experience is a perfect example of this.
