If you’ve ever had to sigh after going through a ton of ‘‘useless’’ applications, tap in!

If you walk into a grocery store to get milk, and on the rack, you see a new brand of milk, well packaged, slightly cheaper than your usual option, but you haven’t heard anything about the brand, either from ads or from friends, would you take a look?
Would you buy it?
Then think about what people think about your job ads when they have not heard about your company.
Today we are talking about Employer Branding so you don’t get passed on as the new milk brand on the rack...
While doing this research I found a lot of interesting statistics about the topic we are discussing, let me share a few below:
- 75% of active job seekers are likely to apply to a job if the employer actively manages its employer brand (source)
- Companies actively investing in employer branding can reduce turnover by as much as 28%. (source)
- 95% of candidates identify a company’s reputation as a key consideration when exploring new career opportunities. (source)
- Employers who fail to invest in their reputation could be paying up to an additional $4,723 per employee hired. (source)
The most interesting fact about employer branding is, whether you work on it or not, you already have employer branding, people already perceive your brand in a certain way so I would strongly advice that you TAKE CHARGE AND CONTROL THE NARRATIVE!!!
Here are some things you could do:
- Assess your current Employer Branding
- Create your Employer Value Proposition (EVP)
- Be intentional about candidate experience
